Join Our Belfast Team

The Belfast diary just keeps growing — school workshops, weekend hen parties, first-dance choreography and weekly classes, every one of them after professional dancers who can genuinely teach.

Paid Properly

From £22 an hour on weekly classes and £25 on hen parties and wedding choreography — set before you start, paid promptly, and never any chasing of invoices.

Around Your Career

You tell us when you're free and we book into it. Most of our Belfast teachers do somewhere between two and ten hours a week around auditions, contracts and tours — and step back the moment a job lands.

Room to Build

Start a weekly class of your own and we'll market it hard, put paid performance work your way through the shows we run, and let you swap between roles as your range grows.

Regular Class Teacher

Dance Jobs Belfast FAQ

Common questions from instructors weighing up joining the Belfast team.

Do I need a formal teaching qualification to land dance jobs in Belfast?

Nice to have, never required. What lands the role is proper training or real performance experience plus the knack of holding a room. A good few of our best teachers came to teaching through dancing, not through a certificate.

What do dance instructors actually get paid in Belfast?

Weekly classes start at £22 an hour; hen party and wedding choreography starts at £25 an hour. The rate is agreed before every booking, paid on time, and bumped up as you take on more.

Which dance styles are you hiring teachers for in Belfast?

Every one of the twenty styles on our timetable — ballet and ballroom through to street, K-pop and heels — plus hen party instructors and wedding choreographers. Belfast is a busy, growing diary, so teachers who cover several styles book up quickest.

Is this full-time work or freelance?

Freelance and flexible, shaped around what you can offer. Some teachers keep to a single weekly class; others stack classes, weekend hen parties and school workshops into a near-full week. None of it is use-it-or-lose-it.

I still perform and audition — can teaching work around that?

That's precisely who we want. Most of the Belfast team are working performers teaching between contracts. Tell us the shape of your availability and we'll build around it — and put it on hold the week you land a tour.
