Wedding Dance Lessons in Manchester
Bespoke first-dance choreography from Manchester's professional wedding dance coaches — anything from a calm, assured sway to a routine the whole reception talks about for weeks.
Your First Dance, Done Properly
Choreography Built to Your Song
Send us the track and your choreographer shapes the whole thing around it — the tempo, the lyric everyone waits for, the moment the phones come up. A classic waltz or something nobody in the room predicts: either way it's built once, just for the pair of you. We coach couples marrying everywhere from a Manchester register office to a barn out in Cheshire.
Built for Beginners
The bulk of couples turn up having never had a single lesson. That's exactly the point: a routine that looks a treat from the guest tables yet is assembled from plain, repeatable moves. Already taking dance classes in Manchester? You'll be miles ahead.

Choose Your Dance Style
The first-dance styles couples reach for most — your choreographer bends any of them to suit your song and your ability.
Traditional Waltz
The evergreen choice — elegant, romantic and equally at home in a grand city-centre ballroom or a marquee in the garden.
Modern Romantic
Relaxed, close movement with none of the formal ballroom shapes — for couples who'd rather look like themselves, just a bit more polished.
Latin Fusion
The warmth of rumba and bachata with a hint of theatre — a connection the back tables can feel.
Swing & Jive
Quick, upbeat and catching — the style that has guests up out of their seats before the track's even finished.
Dramatic Spotlight
Lifts, dips and set-piece moments for couples chasing a gasp — put together safely and drilled until they're solid.
Song Transitions
Start soft, then swing into something unexpected — a multi-track mash-up with about the best reaction-per-second going.
From the Dance Floor
Manchester couples talking about their first dances.
"For our tenth anniversary we booked lessons as a gift to each other — the dance we were too shy to attempt at the wedding. This time we nailed it, swaying to 'Thinking Out Loud' in the living room ever since."Married in Didsbury
"We're both planners, yet the first dance somehow slipped to the final fortnight. One concentrated session fixed everything: a routine that fit us, a track trimmed to length, and two people who stopped dreading the moment entirely."Last-Minute Package
"Getting nine grown men to move in sync sounded like a stretch, and early on it absolutely was. But the coaching was patient and clever, and by the reception we pulled off a group routine nobody expected. Total scenes."Wedding Party Choreography

Wedding Dance FAQ
The things couples tend to ask before booking wedding dance lessons in Manchester — nerves, timing, song choice and where it all happens.
We genuinely can't dance — can wedding lessons in Manchester still sort us out?
Honestly, that's who these lessons exist for. Nearly every couple we take on starts with no dancing behind them at all. Your choreographer picks moves that look far classier than they are tricky and layers them on bit by bit until they need no thought — the nerves come included.
How far ahead of the wedding should we start our lessons?
Give it two or three months and it stays easy-going — a session every week or fortnight with a bit of practice between. Cutting it fine? The two-hour Last Minute intensive has bailed out couples with a fortnight left, and there's usually a slot that same week.
Does it have to be a slow, romantic track?
Not remotely. Fast, slow or anything in the middle, we build the dance around whichever song means something to you; if it overruns we trim it to a length you can carry off. Undecided? Tell your choreographer the feel you're after and a shortlist comes back.
Do you choreograph parent dances and group numbers in Manchester too?
Definitely — every dance on the day, not only the couple's. Parent dances, whole bridal-party numbers and secret surprise routines are all regulars on the books, charged at the usual per-session rate, at our studios or out at your venue.
One of us is quietly dreading it — is that a problem?
Almost the norm, and no bother at all. The sessions are private — no class, no onlookers — and your choreographer sets the pace by whoever's the more nervous. By session two the dreader is usually the one asking about a dip.
Where in Manchester do the wedding dance lessons take place?
In private partner studios around the city centre and the Northern Quarter, booked to fit your week with evenings and weekends going — or the lesson comes to your home or venue, right across Greater Manchester. A last run-through on the actual wedding floor is a favourite add-on.
