Hen Party Dance Class Plymouth
The Hen Party Activity Plymouth Books Most
The Whole Group, One Routine
The point of a dance hen do is that the entire party learns one routine side by side — no dividing into cabs, no one stuck spectating. You get an hour or ninety minutes with a professional choreographer and a filmed finish the group will rewatch for ages. If a wedding of your own is coming, the same choreographers run our wedding dance lessons.
Steps From the Waterfront
Pick a private studio in the heart of the city and you're moments from the Barbican waterfront and Royal William Yard for drinks and dinner afterwards — or we bring the whole session to wherever the hens are staying, from a hotel function room to an Airbnb, kit and playlist included. Loved it and want more? Our weekly dance classes in Plymouth are there whenever you are.
Pick a Theme, Split One Price
Decades, pop divas, stage musicals, dances from around the world — land on the bride's real favourite and we shape the choreography to it. The £140 is a single group price that never climbs with numbers: where a per-head activity might bill everyone £30 or £40, that one figure just splits further the more who come — ten hens make it roughly £14 apiece, twenty barely £7. Plymouth is a straightforward place to pull a scattered crew together, by rail or down the A38. Lock in a date.
Pick Your Hen Party Theme
Upwards of 38 hen dance themes to choose between — settle on whatever suits the bride best and the routine is shaped around it. Every single one is designed for people who've never danced a step.

+£10How It Works
- Choose the theme — 38+ to pick from; follow the bride's taste, not whoever happens to move best.
- Pin down a date — a peak-summer Saturday here is best locked in three to five months out.
- In a studio or at yours — take our central room, or have the whole session come to where you're staying.
- Learn it, then film it — the recorded run-through is part of the deal; an encore's yours to call.
The rate is the same for six hens or thirty — the more who come along, the less it works out per person.
Hen Party FAQ
Common questions from whoever's pulling the Plymouth hen do together.
How much is a hen party dance class in Plymouth?
A single price covers everyone: £140 for a one-hour party or £165 for ninety minutes, and you only add studio hire if you use one of our venues. Because it's a flat rate rather than a per-head charge, the cost simply divides further as the group grows — twelve hens works out around £12 each, where a typical per-person activity would bill £30 or more. Want fizz waiting? A bottle is another £10.
Where in Plymouth does the class actually take place?
Most often a private city-centre studio, an easy stroll or short cab from the Barbican, Sutton Harbour and Royal William Yard when you fancy drinks afterwards. Prefer to stay put? The choreographer will run it at your hotel, Airbnb or a hall you've booked. With no tram network locally, Citybus services and taxis stitch the centre to stays out in Plymstock, Plympton or over the bridge in Saltash.
How do we choose a theme?
Pick whatever the bride would leap up to sing at a party. The safe crowd-pleasers are ABBA, Spice Girls and Beyoncé, while stage-show numbers like Chicago, Wicked and SIX get booked more every month. Can't split the difference? We're happy to fold two into one routine.
None of us can really dance — does that matter?
Honestly, no. The choreographer breaks each routine into tiny, repeatable pieces aimed squarely at first-timers, and it comes together far faster than anyone believes at the start. Enthusiasm counts for much more than experience — and when you watch the filmed take back, the group always looks a good deal slicker than it felt in the moment.
How early do we need to book?
For a summer Saturday, give yourself three to five months — those dates fill first. If your weekend falls close to the British Firework Championships lighting up the Hoe in August, book further ahead still, since rooms and cabs get snapped up around then. Midweek or out of season, you can often sort it just a fortnight or two before.
Could we save the routine for the wedding?
Plenty of groups do exactly that. Let the choreographer know at the start and the routine gets built to last — solid enough to still hold up on the wedding-reception floor months later. More than a few of these hen bookings quietly started life as a surprise first dance for the big day.
