Join Our Nottingham Team
Our Nottingham books keep getting busier — weekly classes, weekend hen parties, first-dance choreography and school workshops, and every one of them needs a professional dancer who can actually teach.
Paid Properly
£22 an hour to start on weekly classes and £25 on hen parties and wedding choreography — the figure's agreed before you begin, paid on the dot, with no invoices left to chase.
Around Your Career
You tell us the hours and we slot the work into them. Most Nottingham teachers put in somewhere from two to ten hours a week between shoots, contracts and touring — and wind it right down as soon as the next job lands.
Room to Build
Build up your own weekly class with our marketing doing the heavy lifting, take on paid performance work through the events we run, and shift between roles as your range widens.

Dance Jobs Nottingham FAQ
The questions dancers put to us most before joining the Nottingham team.
Do I need a formal teaching qualification for these dance jobs in Nottingham?
Nice to have, never a must. What actually lands the job is solid training or stage experience plus the knack of holding a room. A good few of our strongest teachers picked the craft up on the floor rather than in a classroom.
What's the pay like for teaching in Nottingham?
Weekly classes begin at £22 an hour, and hen party and wedding choreography starts at £25 an hour. The rate is settled before each booking, paid promptly, and nudged up as you take on more.
Which styles are you actually hiring for?
Every one of the twenty on our timetable — ballet and ballroom through to street, K-pop and heels — plus hen party leaders and wedding choreographers. The Nottingham diary keeps filling, so teachers who cover a few styles book their weeks up quickest.
Would this be full-time or freelance?
Freelance and flexible, shaped around when you're free. Some people take a single weekly class; others pile classes, weekend hen dos and school workshops into nearly a full week. Nothing here is use-it-or-lose-it.
I'm still performing and auditioning — can teaching fit around it?
That's precisely the sort of person we want. Most of the Nottingham team are working performers teaching in the gaps between contracts. Give us your rough availability and we'll fit the diary to it — then pause the whole thing the moment a tour comes in.
