Dance Competitions

Crew battles, solo battles, breaking and junior categories — our street dance competitions bring crews from all over the country together for cash prizes and bragging rights.

The UK Street Dance Battleground

We have been running street dance competitions for over a decade — our championships have crowned UK street dance champions and given thousands of dancers their first taste of competing in front of a real crowd and a professional judging panel.

Events run in host cities across the country, with adult and children's categories, crews and breakers, and cash prizes for the winners. Judges are working professionals from our choreography roster, so the feedback means something.

Real judges, real prize money, and a crowd that brings the noise.

Crew Battles

The main event — crews battle through heats to the final, judged on choreography, execution, musicality and performance.

Solo & 1v1 Battles

Freestyle head-to-heads for dancers who back themselves. Random music, straight knockout, no hiding.

Breaking

Dedicated breaking categories for b-boys and b-girls, judged by respected heads from the scene.

Junior Categories

Children's crew and solo categories grouped by age, with the same stage and production the adults get.

Spectator Tickets

Not competing? Come for the atmosphere — finals regularly pack out venues and sell out on the door.

Host a Competition

Venues, schools and city partners can host a regional heat — we bring the production, judges and crews to you.

How It Works

Register your crew

Email us your crew name, category, ages and city. Entry details and fees are confirmed per event when dates are announced.

Battle the heats

Regional heats decide who advances. Every crew performs at least twice, so the trip is never wasted.

Reach the final

Finalists battle on the main stage for cash prizes, the title and the crowd — and winners get seen by our casting team.

Questions, Answered

How do we enter a competition?

Email info@dancecentreuk.co.uk with your crew name, category and city and we will send the entry pack for the next event. Follow our socials for date announcements.

What are the age categories?

Junior categories are grouped by school age, with separate adult categories from 16 or 18 depending on the event. Exact groupings are in each event's entry pack.

What can we win?

Cash prizes for winning crews and soloists — prize funds are announced per event — plus the title, and attention from our casting team, who book competition standouts for paid professional work.

Can we come just to watch?

Absolutely — spectator tickets are sold for every event and finals get loud. Bring the family; junior categories usually run first.
