Once upon a warm-up
Your choreographer arrives at the studio or your accommodation and warms the group up to a medley of Disney classics. Tiaras stay on; inhibitions come off within one chorus.
Learn the fairytale routine
A medley routine built around the bride's favourites — a dramatic ice-queen section, an under-the-sea groove, a ballroom-style waltz moment. Taught step by step, no experience or singing ability required.
The happily-ever-after finale
The whole routine is performed and filmed with the bride centre stage as the leading princess. It's the one hen party video guaranteed to make the mother of the bride cry at the reception.
Why a Disney Hen Do?
No other theme has this much shared songbook. Whether your hen party spans two generations or three, everyone in the room grew up on Disney — the nineties kids on The Lion King and Aladdin, the younger cousins on Frozen and Moana. That means instant singalong energy, zero explaining, and a routine where the biggest problem is people singing too loudly to count their steps.
The routine is a medley, tailored to the bride: a dramatic Frozen power-ballad section, an Under the Sea wiggle, a sweeping ballroom moment for the bride-to-be and her maid of honour, and a full-cast carnival finish. Your choreographer keeps every section beginner-friendly and gloriously theatrical — princess dresses, matching tiaras and character onesies have all graced these classes.
Disney is practically a British theatrical institution at this point. The Lion King has filled the Lyceum Theatre in the West End since 1999 and ranks among the longest-running shows in London history, Frozen recently spent three years at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and singalong screenings sell out cinemas nationwide. A Disney hen do simply joins a very well-established national habit.
Three generations, one songbook — the only hen party theme the flower girl and the granny both know by heart.
Let It Go
The Frozen power-ballad section: dramatic cape flicks, ice-queen arms and a key-change moment the group will overcommit to.
Circle of Life
A sunrise-worthy opening — big, slow, ceremonial arms as the bride is presented to the group. Yes, like that.
Under the Sea
Calypso hips and shimmying shoals — the loose, giggly section that gets everyone properly moving.
A Whole New World
A swaying, romantic magic-carpet duet moment, usually gifted to the bride and her chief bridesmaid.
Be Our Guest
Full cabaret mode: kick-lines, jazz hands and dinner-service choreography straight out of the château.
How Far I'll Go
The Moana horizon-gazing anthem — travelling steps and big brave arms for the routine's emotional build.
Disney Facts Worth Repeating
A West End fixture since 1999
The Lion King has played London's Lyceum Theatre since 1999, making it one of the longest-running and highest-grossing shows in West End history.
Frozen's double crown
Frozen won the 2014 Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for Let It Go — and became Disney Animation's first billion-dollar film.
A chart-topping carpet ride
A Whole New World from Aladdin is the only Disney song ever to reach number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, in 1993.
Where it all began
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, released in 1937, was the first full-length cel-animated feature film — the gamble that built everything since.
Disney Questions, Answered
How much does a Disney hen party dance class cost?
One flat rate for the whole kingdom: £140 for an hour or £165 for ninety minutes, plus the venue. Any group size for the same price — no per-person charges, no group-chat maths, no deposits lost if a fairy godmother drops out.
Can we choose which Disney songs go in the routine?
Yes — tell us the bride's favourites when you book and your choreographer builds the medley around them. Frozen-heavy, nineties-classics-only, a villain-era section: all fair game. If the group can't agree, a mixed medley keeps everyone happy.
Do we need to be able to dance (or sing)?
Neither. Routines are built for complete beginners and taught in short sections, and the singing along is entirely voluntary — though it has never once stayed voluntary past the first chorus. Enthusiasm outranks ability at every Disney hen do we've taught.
Are costumes and props provided?
No — groups bring their own, and honestly it's half the fun. Princess dresses, matching tiaras, character onesies and Minnie ears all appear regularly. Your choreographer comes to your accommodation or a partner studio, so you can get ready together beforehand.
