North YorkshireHow Your RuPaul Party Runs
Arrival and Runway School
Your choreographer opens the class with a warm-up and a runway masterclass — the walk, the turn, the pose — so the group finds its strut before the routine begins.
Learning the Routine
A full routine taught in short sections, mixing catwalk struts, group poses and lip-sync performance. Dips and drops are strictly optional; commitment is not.
The Lip-Sync Finale
The session ends with a filmed lip-sync finale, bride centre stage and everything cranked to maximum. Prepare for the group chat to peak.
Why a RuPaul Hen Party?
A RuPaul theme is a permission slip. Even the hens who swear they cannot dance will strut, pose and lip-sync once the runway is declared open — because drag is about commitment, not technique. It is the campest, most confidence-building session we teach, and it suits mixed groups, big personalities and brides who love a spectacle.
Your choreographer blends a proper routine with the essential Drag Race skills: the runway walk, the hair flick, the pose-and-hold, and a lip-sync finale where subtlety is strictly forbidden. Everything is taught step by step, dips and drops stay optional, and the bride finishes the session with a crown-worthy moment all of her own.
Britain took to Drag Race like it invented it. RuPaul's Drag Race UK has been a BBC hit since 2019, UK Hun? crashed the Official Singles Chart in 2021, and drag brunches now sell out from Brighton to Glasgow. A RuPaul hen party lands you squarely in the middle of the UK's biggest pop-culture love-in.
The one theme where being too much is exactly enough.
Supermodel (You Better Work)
RuPaul's 1992 breakthrough — the catwalk anthem that anchors most routines.
Sissy That Walk
The definitive runway track: struts, hair flicks and a full group walk-off.
Cover Girl
Poses, pouts and paced walking — ideal for building the group's confidence early on.
Call Me Mother
Fast, fierce and full of attitude — the routine's sharpest section.
UK Hun?
The Drag Race UK series two moment that became a genuine British chart hit — an instant crowd-pleaser.
Lip Sync for Your Life
The set-piece finale: the whole group performs, and the bride takes the crown.
RuPaul Facts Worth Repeating
Emmy Royalty
RuPaul holds the record for the most Emmy wins for Outstanding Host of a reality or competition programme, including eight consecutive wins from 2016 to 2023.
Drag Race Comes Home
RuPaul's Drag Race UK launched on BBC Three in October 2019 and made overnight stars of its British queens.
A Genuine Chart Hit
UK Hun? by the United Kingdolls, from Drag Race UK series two, reached number 27 on the Official UK Singles Chart in 2021.
Where It All Started
Supermodel (You Better Work) made RuPaul a global name in the early nineties — and cracked the UK Top 40 along the way.
RuPaul Questions, Answered
How much does a RuPaul hen party dance class cost?
From £140 plus venue hire for one hour, or £165 plus venue for ninety minutes — one flat rate for the whole group, whatever its size. No per-person pricing and no penalty when numbers change.
Do we need heels, wigs or drag outfits?
We do not supply costumes or props, so anything fabulous comes with you — most groups raid the internet for wigs, boas and sequins beforehand. Learn the routine in trainers, then glam up for the filmed finale.
None of us can actually dance. Does that matter?
Not in the slightest. Drag rewards commitment over technique, and the routine is taught in short, repeatable sections that total beginners manage easily. If you can strut and pose, you are already halfway there.
Can the choreographer come to us?
Yes — in every one of our 67 cities the class can run at your hotel, Airbnb or a hired hall, or at a partner studio if you prefer. Wherever there is floor space, there is a runway.
